Discover the fascinating history of one of the world's oldest copper-mining regions while enjoying the extraordinary scenery of the southern Arava Desert.
Tuesday, November 10 – Eilat's Natural Wonders
Discover the natural beauty surrounding Eilat, beginning with a drive towards the Rabin Border Crossing between Israel and Jordan. Visit Eilat's Birdwatching Park, an important stopover for millions of migrating birds, before continuing to the nearby flamingo pools.
From there, climb into the Eilat Mountains to Mount Yoash, where breathtaking panoramic views stretch across the desert mountains and neighbouring countries. Continue towards the spectacular Red Canyon for a short desert walk to a shaded acacia tree.
Wednesday, November 11 – The Wonders of Ramon Crater
Journey into the heart of the magnificent Ramon Crater (Makhtesh Ramon), one of Israel's most extraordinary natural landscapes. Travel through dramatic desert scenery, stopping to explore fascinating geological formations, colourful sands, and scenic viewpoints while learning about the forces that shaped this remarkable region.
Continue along a beautiful desert route to Khan Saharonim, the remains of an ancient Nabataean caravanserai that once served traders travelling the historic Incense Route.
Conclude the tour at Mitzpe Ramon, enjoying a spectacular panoramic view overlooking the immense crater.
Thursday, November 12 – Judean Mountains & Wine Tasting
Enjoy a scenic journey through the beautiful Judean Mountains, where winding roads, forested hills, terraced vineyards, and sweeping valleys create some of Israel's most picturesque landscapes.
Visit a local Judean Mountain winery for a guided wine tasting, discovering the region's growing reputation for producing exceptional Israeli wines.
Continue to Bar Giora for lunch with the cycling groups before travelling to ALYN Hospital in Jerusalem for an in-depth tour of the hospital and a special conclusion to the 2026 ALYN Ride & Hike.
