ALYN Hospital relies on the generosity of donors to cover the cost of board-approved therapeutic and medical equipment as well as of a variety of projects for the benefit of the children undergoing rehabilitation with us. ALYN Hospital's THERAPY “GAP” PROJECT is a means to help bridge the ever-fluctuating “gap” between the reimbursements from the health funds and the actual costs of the high-level quality and quantity of our specialized paramedical treatments including physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and psychological and social work services, as described below.
Hundreds of children with disabilities are treated at ALYN Hospital as inpatients, day patients and outpatients each day, undergoing, on average, 3 therapeutic treatments per day.
