At ALYN, we believe that every child has the right to realize their full potential. As part of ALYN’s educational-medical rehabilitation services, each child receives the highest quality care tailored to their individual needs and abilities, with the goal of promoting independence, health, and social inclusion.
Every child is provided with an individualized educational and rehabilitation program designed to address their developmental, educational, rehabilitative, social, medical, and cultural needs.
The Educational Rehabilitation Department (Shachar) team includes teachers and kindergarten teachers, teaching assistants and educational support staff, allied health professionals, social workers, nurses, and a physician dedicated exclusively to the kindergarten program.
Children enrolled in Shachar may also receive follow-up care through ALYN’s outpatient clinics, subject to the relevant authorization arrangements with their health maintenance organizations (HMOs).
The Shachar Department at ALYN includes:
• Rehabilitation Day Care Center: Intended for children eligible under the law, from 6 months to 3 years of age.
• Kindergarten: For children aged 3 years through the end of compulsory kindergarten.
