The clinic offers treatment for children and adolescents with incontinence.
Who do we treat?
Children with sphincter dysfunction as a result of:
- congenital defects such as Spina Bifida
- Spinal Cord Injury
- acquired conditions and tumors
Treatment includes:
- nursing assessment and formulation of care plan
- assessment and adaptation of the care plan to the changing needs of the child
- personal instruction and training of the child and his/her family
- pressure sore treatment and prevention
- instruction on treatment of enuresis, bowel training, fecal soiling and use of absorbent products.
- Urological consult, when appropriate
