Dr. Simon-Henri Schless divides his time as the manager of the clinical motion analysis and biofeedback laboratory at the ALYN pediatric and adolescent rehabilitation center in Jerusalem, and principal investigator in the ALYN PARC Helmsley Research Center, where he heads the domain of “motion analysis and biofeedback rehabilitation". Dr. Schless initially trained as physiotherapist, with extensive experience in pediatric rehabilitation, and in 2018 received a Doctorate in Biomedical Sciences from the Faculty of Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Sciences at the KU Leuven, Belgium. His current research focuses on exploring the development of selective motor control during functional tasks in the pediatric rehabilitation population, and the use of advanced ultrasound-based imaging techniques for quantifying soft tissue alterations and bony deformities to improve clinical decision making.
