Zohar Filber is the head of 'Ma'ayan', ALYN Hospital's Rehabilitative Equipment Display Center and the Center for Safe Transportation For Children With Special Needs. As a specialist in assistive technology, she works within ALYN to provide assessments and consultations for the adaptation of rehabilitation equipment, such as powered wheelchairs, headrests, and seating systems. She works in cooperation with the Department of Rehabilitation and Mobility Equipment at the Ministry of Health and represents ALYN in counseling to various government ministries, initiating new regulations for the welfare of children. Zohar is a certified instructor of the Child Passenger Safety from Safe Kids Worldwide, holds a BA in Occupational Therapy from Tel Aviv University and an MA in Early Childhood Policy and Management from the School of Social Work in Hebrew University at the Schwartz Program.
