Mati Weiss, 18, and her coach Ohad Tanami – two of this year's "Wheels of Love" riders embody the spirit of resilience and perseverance that defines ALYN.
Mati, paralyzed from the waist down, rode 260 km on her handcycle. Ohad, a reservist coping with PTSD after losing three comrades in battle, trained her with unwavering commitment ,even coming straight from the front lines to their sessions.
Their journey is a testament to the healing power of movement, courage, and connection.
“Do the best you can ,and a little more,” Ohad says. “That’s how we’ll build a better country.”
