To provide an evidence-based framework to develop and evaluate electrophysiological tools to monitor children with a range of brain injuries and neurological pathologies. The studies focus on clinical correlates of different medical treatments on electrophysiological measures (EEG and EMG) as well as determining the applicability of neuromodulative surgical treatments in patients with dyskinetic cerebral palsy and rehabilitation of neuromuscular disorders in the era of new genetic therapies. The potential of using machine learning techniques for “big data” analysis in search of patterns which can serve for the classification of patient progress and responses to different therapeutic interventions is also of interest.
