Ortal is a physiotherapist at the Donald Berman Children’s Rehabilitation Center (Meshi) and a researcher at the ALYN PARC Helmsley Research Center, under the guidance of Dr. Schless. Her research is focused on evaluating alterations in lower limb selective motor control complexity in children and adolescents following an acquired brain injury, and the relation between the timing and location of the brain lesion. This project is also being written up for her master’s thesis at Tel Aviv University, in collaboration with Prof. Jason Friedman.
