ALYN Hospital is one of the world's leading specialists in intensive rehabilitation of children and adolescents experiencing motor, cognitive, communication and behavioral problems resulting from brain injuries, spinal cord disorders, complicated trauma and post-surgical orthopedics, neuromuscular and genetic disorders, bone and joint diseases, severe burns, childhood cancers, ventilator dependency, complicated pain syndromes, and other conditions.
Rehabilitation at ALYN Hospital is based on a multidisciplinary approach that is personalized for each patient using state-of-the-art medical equipment and techniques.
ALYN Hospital is an officially registered non-profit organization and receives NO automatic government funding whatsoever. Only a fraction of the actual cost of the high quality and quantity of care which each child receives is reimbursed from the Israeli Health Funds and other referring agencies.
Since compromising on the quality or quantity of ALYN Hospital’s individual treatment program per child is simply not an option, the Hospital MUST raise funds in order to bridge the ever-increasing "gap" between the actual costs of ALYN's exemplary multidisciplinary and holistic personalized treatment and the officially fixed payment received for each patient.
In addition, 100% of ALYN Hospital's development budget, which includes purchase of new equipment, replacement of used equipment, special one-time projects and programs, research and renovations, must be covered by donations.
