Donations to cover the expenses of board-approved medical and therapeutic equipment ensure that the ALYN Hospital doctors, nurses and therapists always have the tools they need on-hand when providing care to the children and adolescents we treat. The donations needed to cover the purchase of medical equipment for our General Rehabilitation or Respiratory Rehabilitation Departments, or therapeutic equipment used for assessments or treatments in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, hydrotherapy, or psychological counseling can range from $500 to $15,000 and even more.
Each year, the list of medical and therapeutic equipment requested by the relevant Heads of Departments undergoes an approval process by the ALYN Hospital Board of Directors. As such, the equipment needs vary from year to year.
