"Solutions to Feeding Problems" : workshops for parents

During 2008 Alyn’s speech and language therapists have been running a series of evening courses for the parents of children who attend Alyn’s Infant Day Care Center and who have various problems with feeding.  These courses offer practical advice to the parents on how to deal with a variety of feeding problems many of which are the result of either physical and/or emotional conditions within the home and the family. 

As an additional part of this project, instruction is also given by the speech and language therapists to the Alyn staff of nurses, kindergarten teachers and their assistants who look after these infants on a daily basis.
