ALYN Hospital, the only facility of its kind in Israel, is an officially registered non-profit rehabilitation hospital and receives NO automatic government funding whatsoever and only partial reimbursement from the Israeli Health Funds and other referring agencies, of the actual cost of the quality and quantity of the high level multidisciplinary and holistic treatments each child receives.

Donations to the ALYN Hospital are channeled through the Friends of ALYN Society which is a registered non-profit organization raising funds for the ALYN Hospital Pediatric and Adolescent Rehabilitation Center.
Donations received are used to underwrite the costs of the Hospital’s activities in order to ensure the continuation of the highest possible level of the quality and quantity of the rehabilitation treatments given to the children, for the expansion of the Hospital’s research and development projects and for an Endowment Fund which will insure the continued existence of the Hospital and its activities in times of fiscal crises and emergencies.
AN AVERAGE OF $95 PER CHILD PER DAY IS NEEDED TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN THE FIXED REIMBURSEMENTS RECEIVED AND THE COSTS OF BOTH THE QUALITY AND QUANTITY OF THE MULTIDISCIPLINARY REHABILITATION TREATMENTS WHICH EACH CHILD RECEIVES IN ALYN HOSPITAL.
In addition 100% of ALYN Hospital's development budget which includes purchase of new equipment, replacement of used equipment, special one-time projects and programs, research, development and renovations must be covered by donations.
