Services for the patient and their family

ALYN Hospital treats all children, regardless of their religion or ethnic origin. The Hospital staff respect all cultures and make a great effort to help every patient and their family feel comfortable within the Hospital environment.

Wireless internet (WI-FI)

There is wireless access to the internet throughout the Hospital. Wi-fi  is not secured so no password is necessary.

Laundry

Self-service laundry is available in the Rehabilitation Department.  A washing machine and dryer are activated by tokens which can be purchased at the kiosk on the entrance floor of the Hospital (near the main entrance) . 

Synagogue

ALYN's synagogue is in use all year round. It is located on the ground floor next to the elevator and is wheel chair accessible. On weekdays Mincha is at 1:30 p.m., and on Shabbat and Holidays services take place together with residents of the neighborhood.

Muslim prayer room

The Muslim prayer room, which is wheelchair accessible, is located near the Out Patient Clinics.  It is open all day for patients, their families and staff.

Dining room

The dining room for patients' families, located on the ground floor, is open every day between 13:00 and 14:00 (closed on Shabbat). Vouchers for meals can be purchased at the kiosk on the entrance floor for 15 NIS.

Aliza's Kiosk

The kiosk is located on the entrance level and is open between 9:30 - 17:00.

Leisure

There are play areas in the Out Patient Clinic area and near the entrance to the Rehabilitation Department. At the back of the Hospital there is a pleasant garden and walkway with shaded benches facing the Jerusalem Forest.

The playground in the Shachar Day Care Center can only be used under adult supervision.
