WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
ALYN Hospital is an officially registered non-profit pediatric rehabilitation facility and receives NO automatic government funding whatsoever and only partial reimbursement from the Israeli Health Funds and other referring agencies, of the actual cost of the quality and quantity of the high level multidisciplinary and holistic treatments which each child receives.
Since compromising on the quality or quantity of ALYN Hospital’s individual treatment program per child is simply not an option, the Hospital MUST raise funds in order to bridge the ever-increasing "gap" between the actual costs of ALYN's exemplary multidisciplinary and holistic treatment which every child in ALYN's care receives and the officially fixed payment received for each patient (*Please see Shortfall Rates below).
In addition 100% of ALYN Hospital's development budget which includes purchase of new equipment, replacement of used equipment, special one-time projects and programs, research and renovations must be covered by donations.
DESIGNATED DONATIONS:
- "In Memory of..... " or "In Honor of........ " Please send an e mail to Ruth Yudelman at ruth@alyn.org including all the necessary details and we will send an acknowledgement to the family. See example of our gift recognition certificate (available in Hebrew and English) for donations of NIS/$/£/€ 100 minimum.
- A leaf on ALYN's Tree of Life- In Honor/ In Memory. 100 X 18 (Chai חי) in donor's local currency e.g $1800 € 1800, ₤ 1800, 1800 NIS. See Tree of Life and example of Leaf.
- An earmarked donation (minimum $1,000) for any of our specific current needs i.e. for the purchase of new equipment, for the replacement of used equipment, for special one-time projects and programs, research, development and renovations, please contact Brenda Hirsch, Director of Resource Development Brenda@alyn.org for updated information on specific needs. Become a GUARDIAN ANGEL by covering the shortfall in the rehabilitation costs for one child for one year. See example of donor recognition plaque.
GUARDIAN ANGEL PROJECT
Underwrite the shortfall for a patient in any of the following categories for one year, have your name on a special Guardian Angel board and receive regular written and pictorial updates of the child you are supporting throughout the year.

The quality of the lives of ALYN's "special" children are, more than ever, dependent upon the generosity of individuals, organizations, funds, foundations, chapters and groups around the world.
Donations to ALYN Hospital are channeled through the Friends of ALYN Society which is a registered non-profit organization raising funds for the ALYN Hospital Pediatric and Adolescent Rehabilitation Center. Donations received are used to underwrite the costs of the Hospital’s activities in order to ensure the continuation of the highest possible level of the quality and quantity of the rehabilitation treatments given to the children, for the expansion of the Hospital’s research and development projects and for an Endowment Fund which will insure the continued existence of the Hospital and its activities in times of fiscal crises and emergencies.
