Rabbi Benny Fischer, founder of an organization called Magen Lacholeh and one of the top authorities in the field of medicine within the Haredi community, recently visited ALYN and met with Dr. Maurit Beeri Director General  of ALYN and Dr. Eliezer Be'eri Deputy Director General of ALYN and Director of the Pediatric Respiratory Rehabilitation Department.

During the tour of the Hospital Dr. Maurit Beeri described to Rabbi Fischer the latest innovations and trends in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and she also explained to him  the efforts which ALYN is making to adjust its services to the needs of Haredi patients.

Rabbi Fischer was updated about the newly created Pre-Birth Clinic for Parents with a Fetus at Risk which offers professional assistance and information to parents prior to the birth.

During the visit Dr. Fischer and Dr. Beeri held a discussion relating to the importance of passing on accurate medical information to Rabbis so that they will be able to give precise answers to specific questions. Rabbi Fischer was deeply impressed after seeing first hand how the Hospital works and he promised to continue to strengthen the cooperation between his organization Magen Lecholeh and ALYN in order to provide physically challenged children with the best possible care.
