In May 2008, ALYN’s nutritionist attended the Israel Annual Conference of Nutritionists which took place in Tel Aviv. One of the workshops in which she took part was entitled “ Feeding children without arguments” which she says is a problem which ALYN nurses and therapists often come up against during a child’s rehabilitation in the Hospital.
In May 2008, Dr. Ofer Keren, Director of ALYN’s Rehabilitation Unit and Day Hospitalization Unit was guest speaker at a conference organized by Beterem: Israel’s National Center for Children’s Safety and Health.
In June this year Dr. Eliezer Be’eri, Director of ALYN’s Respiratory Rehabilitation Unit participated in the 3-day International Conference on Chronic Ventilated Patients held in Tel Aviv. Dr. Be’eri presented a paper on a new technology for secretion clearance which has been developed in ALYN Hospital.
On September 3rd this year Dr. Eliezer Be’eri, Director of ALYN’s Respiratory Rehabilitation Unit presented a paper on “The Quality of Life of Ventilated Patients”at the International Conference on Spinal Muscular Atrophy which was held in Tel Aviv.
Dr. Ofer Keren, Director of Alyn’s Rehabilitation Unit was invited to attend and lecture at the Annual Meeting of the European Society of Movement Analysis for Adults and Children which took place between September 8th – 13th 2008 in Antalya, Turkey.
In October 2008 Dr. Ofer Keren, Director of ALYN’s Rehabilitation Unit was invited to attend and give a lecture at the 3rd Beijing International Rehabilitation Forum.
