
Children's Gym:
The children workout in Maslul's especially equipped gym and train using virtual reality technology.
Goals: to strengthen the body, increase self-esteem and to improve equilibrium and coordination.
The personal goals for each child will be regularly evaluated.
Number of children in the group: up to eight.
Suitable for boys and girls from first grade.
Focused Therapeutic Sport:
This class is suitable for children who have difficulty in performing every day functions i.e.
children who have spatial orientation difficulties, sensory integration dysfunction, developmental coordination disorder (DCD), problems of equilibrium and balance.
Number of children in the group: up to six.
Suitable for boys and girls from preschool up to fourth grade.
Therapeutic Judo:
Learning judo instills children with self-confidence and teaches them control and self-discipline. Maslul's unique judo program improves physical activity, functional motor skills, coordination and balance. The judo groups are small and each child is given personal attention in a non-competitive and stress free environment so that they can develop and improve, each child according to their abilities.
Goals: to strengthen the child both physically and emotionally and to improve their balance and coordination.
Number of children in the group: six to eight.
Suitable for boys and girls from kindergarten up to fourth grade.
Gymnastics and Climbing Wall
A variety of gym activities which are based on therapeutic sport using ladders, a balance beam, balls, scooters etc.
Goals: whilst developing physical fitness and agility, the child's self-confidence will improve because he/she is experiencing success! The climbing wall is used to strengthen shoulder and back muscles.
Number of children in the group: up to six.
Suitable for boys and girls from preschool up to third grade.
Therapeutic Swimming:
This class takes place in a heated therapeutic pool and is taught by hydrotherapists who are experienced in working with special needs children and children who have learning difficulties. Each child is evaluated and works to achieve their personal therapeutic goals.
Goals: working in the water enables children who have difficulties of coordination or who are weak, to connect with their bodies and to reach therapeutic goals which would be harder for them to achieve on "dry land".
Number of children in the group: five to seven.
Suitable for boys and girls of kindergarten age.
The Sports Club for Special Needs Adolescents:
A weekly 3 hour meeting which combines physical and social activity for adolescents suffering from CP, autism, mental retardation and head injuries who learn in special- education facilities.
Goals: to expand their range of motion, to strengthen muscles, to practice standing and to basically improve their physical movements. In addition the goal of the club is to improve their social skills.
Number of adolescents in the group: up to eight.
Suitable for boys and girls aged between sixteen and twenty-one.
Artistic Gymnastics:
The class will learn movements from the world of dance and gymnastics combining games and other activities. Equipment such as hoops, balls, ribbons, ponpons and ropes etc.will be used to connect with a variety of rhythms. The children will be taught basic gymnastic exercises such as somersaults, hand stands, splits and cartwheels.
Goals: to strengthen the shoulder muscles, increase endurance, strength and spacial orientation.
Number of children in the group: six to eight.
Suitable for boys of kindergarten age and for girls from kindergarten age up to sixth grade.
Aerobics and body design:
The class will learn basic aerobic movements and body designing techniques. Every week a new dance will be taught – to a background of pop music - using exercise bands, hand weights etc,
Goals: to develop and improve heart/lung endurance, fitness and strength and to strengthen the arms, legs, abs, chest and lower part of the body.
Number of children in the group: six to eight.
Suitable for boys and girls from second grade.

The Mayor of Jerusalem inaugurated the clinic which underwent a major renovation.
Purim Party at ALYN with the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music
A special Purim party was held at ALYN hospital. The Rimon salsa band performed live for the children of ALYN.

Rabbi Yona Metzger, came to learn about ALYN’s prenatal rehabilitative consultation service for parents with a fetus at risk for congenital disorders.
